Having been tortured by the ruthless Fang clan, kung fu master Mar Tien Liang (John Liu) rebounds from the grip of madness to wreak vengeance upon his enemies in Ting Chung’s 1970s martial arts classic MARS VILLA. Chief on the hero’s hit list is clan leader Kang Fang (Phillip Kao), who kidnapped Mar’s wife (Tong Bo Wan) and forced her to marry his unscrupulous son (Tung Wei, who also choreographed the fight scenes).

Brimful of hard-hitting martial arts action, Chung’s unconventional twist on the standard revenge drama is further distinguished by the use of iconic spaghetti-western soundtracks.
